I share your desire to make our communities stronger from so many perspectives — in terms of education, an economy that works for everyone, a healthy environment, and making health care a basic service provided to all Americans.

Back in 1981, I voted for Bernie, and I brought three friends along with me to do the same. Bernie was elected Mayor of Burlington by 10 votes! This experience drove home the importance of voting. Your vote does count and make a difference — and you can amplify that vote when you engage your friends in voting too.

Since then, I have voted for Bernie every time he’s been on the ballot — Mayor, Congressman, US Senator. He’s been a consistent supporter of regular people, always looking for ways to improve the lives of every American, but especially the working women and men of this country. And Seniors. And Veterans. And Students. And those in need of Health Care. And farmers. And nurses. And those working in clean energy. And….
